Stages of sleep, as human beings, we need a proper stage of sleep schedule. With proper sleep, we will be able to fight through the stress and hurdles daily. These obstacles and hindrances come in our life on a day to day basis. Thus, proper sleep keeps your mind and body fit to face life in the best way possible.
Meanwhile, the human body goes the five stages every day. When we are at our beds to take rest, we get with our sleep cycle. It is very much important for a person to have adequate sleep every day after a long stressful and hectic day that people have to face daily. career are certain sleep time limits starting from babies to adults to old age people. Your brain is in a place of rest when you sleep and so are your eyes. This is due to the entire day’s tiredness and stresses that we face. If your sleep cycle gets disturbed somehow then you will feel tired and weak and even irritated for the whole day.
Sleep Cycle: Stages of sleep
Science has proven that there are two types of sleep, known as the rapid eye movement(REM) and the non-REM. However, non-REM sleep is categorized in various stages as follows :
This sleep stage of non-REM occurs when you first move after you have laid your head. As soon as you keep your head on the pillow and close your eyes, the stage takes place. The eyes in this stage move slowly and the muscle movement ceases. The person who is sleeping can be easily awakened at this stage. With any little noise or disturbances, you may wake up.
In this stage of sleep, the person is asleep and he or she is unaware of the surrounding. The individual’s body temperature may drop, however, breathing and heart rates are regular. Meanwhile, the eye movements decrease or do not exist at all. The brain waves also slow down, in spite of several burst s of activities.
In this stage of sleep, the person sleeps deeply because it has been characterized that even brain waves which are slower annonlso less sporadic burst of br, ain becomes activated. Muscles totally relax at this stage and the breathing becomes slow. It is also a kind of non Rem sleep. During this stage it become very much hard for the sleeper to wake up. Even if you call them with a loud sound they will still be sleeping. It is like having a total of sound sleep.
In this stage of sleep, the person sleeps as deeply as he can. It is the deepest sleeping stage in the whole sleep cycle even more than stage 3. It is also characterized by brain waves which are very slow and there is no sporadic lifestyle in wave activity.
So it is very much important for a person to fulfill each of the sleeping stages each day to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
